MBBS FRACGP FARGP MIH

Experience & Professional Interests:
Originally from Malaysia, I grew up in Perth and graduated from UWA School of Medicine in 2005.

I have enjoyed being a GP for over 10 years with qualifications in rural general practice and have worked in a variety of settings including the Kimberley region in WA, Aboriginal health, public health research, homeless health care and skin cancer medicine.

I also have a Masters of International Health from Curtin University and have some experience working overseas in Kenya. I lived and worked in Broome for about 5 years before settling back in Perth with my husband and daughter. I am accredited by the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and have obtained dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery qualifications.

What I enjoy about being a GP:
I love the variety in practising medicine and learning new skills. I enjoy working with my colleagues and collaborating with other health professionals to help my patients find the best ways to problem-solve and live healthier lives. I believe that prevention is the best approach and working with the most up-to-date evidence-based medicine.

Outside of work:
