Skin Cancer Checks & Treatment
Our practice provides comprehensive skin cancer services, including thorough full-body skin checks. We use advanced techniques and technology, like Total Body Photography and dermoscopy, to meticulously examine and monitor your moles and lesions. If a suspicious spot is identified, we’ll discuss the next steps with you.
We provide prompt biopsies for accurate diagnosis and where appropriate, perform excisions, including complex flap and graft procedures on the head, neck, ears, and nose on-site.

Travel Medicine
A Travel Form will be e-mailed to you by reception. To prepare for your appointment, please complete it and return it via e-mail to help [at] thewoodsmedical.com.au with a copy of your itinerary, at least a couple of days before your travel appointment to ensure you’re fully prepared for a healthy and enjoyable trip.

Flu Vaccinations
Protect yourself and your loved ones this winter with a flu vaccine. Our experienced doctors and nurses provide safe and effective flu vaccinations tailored to your needs, offering a convenient way to guard against seasonal influenza.
The WA ‘Free for Everyone’ program is available in May & June 2026. Free vaccinations for children aged 2 to 11 years will remain available through to the 31st July 2026. The flu vaccine always remains free for vulnerable groups, including young children, older adults, individuals with underlying medical conditions, and healthcare workers.

Mirena Insertion & Removal
Mirena is a highly effective, long-acting reversible contraceptive (LARC) that can also help manage heavy periods and endometriosis.
We know that accessing affordable, high-quality contraceptive and reproductive healthcare is incredibly important. That’s why we are proud to share that these procedures with Dr Carolyn Berry & Dr Ashlee Burgess will now be bulk-billed.
Please note that the initial consultation will be privately billed and will need to be on a separate date before the procedure. A script will be provided at your initial consultation to purchase the device from the chemist.
