Asthma Management
Asthma is a chronic inflammation of the airways.
Asthma causes coughing, chest tightness, wheezing or shortness of breath.
It affects one in nine Australians. If you are using a blue asthma reliever over two times a week, it could be a sign that your asthma is not under control.
The Woods Medical Centre can provide a consultation on how to manage your asthma and individualised care plans for those with asthma or any chronic disease.
Asthma Medication Reviews
Our doctors can prepare a specific review of your asthma medications and together you set goals and action plans to help you achieve the best quality of life.
If you are eligible for an Asthma Care Plan, you may also access medicare benefits that will reduce the cost of allied health visits (e.g. physiotherapy).
